8 New Intel Coffee Lake desktop CPUs leak – Core i5/i3 & Pentium chips
Intel has added eight new Coffee Lake desktop processors to its online database. Three of these chips belong to the Core i5 and i3 lineup targeting mainstream PCs, whereas the remaining five are entry-level Pentium and Celeron products. The chip are expected launch in the coming weeks.
Intel adds New Coffee Lake desktop CPUs to Online Database; Include 6-Core i5-8600 & 4-Core i3-8300
Up until now, Intel has offered six Coffee Lake desktop CPUs that launched back in September last year. A list of unannounced Coffee Lake products leaked in late November, hinting the company might be prepping more SKUs. Now the latest updates to their MDDS (material declaration datasheet) give us an idea about what the new processors could be.

The new Coffee Lake processors added to the online database include their 6-core CPUs, namely Core i5-8600 and Core i5-8500, and a quad-core Core i3-8300 chip. The two 6-core CPUs will sit between the Core i5-8400 and the Core i5-8600K, so they will likely cost more than $182 but less than $257.
There is no mention of any specifications, but from what we know about the CPUs is that they will come without hyper-threading support as do the current Core i5 CFL products, along with 9 MB of L3 cache and 65W TDP.
The Core i3-8300 will sit between the Core i3-8350K and the Core i3-8100. The chip will rock 4 cores and 4 threads and will be priced around $140.
For budget consumers, Intel will be offering new Pentium Gold and Celeron products featuring the new microarchitecture. These will include the Pentium Gold G5600, Pentium Gold G5500, Pentium Gold G5400, Celeron G4920 and Celeron G4900.
Again the specifications of these CPUs are yet to be announced, but you can expect them to sport two physical cores with the Pentium chips supporting hyper-threading. In addition, the chips will feature the Intel UHD 610 integrated GPU, and a TDP of ~51W. These Pentium Gold and Celeron CPUs will be priced around $100 or less.
