New Intel Core i5-8600, i5-8500 and Celeron CPUs Listed Online
Intel is readying to bring new Coffee Lake desktop processors to the market. The launch is expected to take place in the coming days, but if you can’t wait till then, you can grab one of the new chips from third-party sellers on Newegg. Currently, there are four processors listed for sale, including Intel’s new six-core Core i5-8600.

Unreleased Coffee Lake Core i5-8600 and Core i5-8500 available on Newegg
Last week, Intel added new 8th Gen Coffee Lake CPUs to its online database. The list featured two Core i5 and one Core i3 CPUs targeting mainstream PCs. Well, the two Core i5 CPUs are now available on Newegg, along with two other Celeron chips, also based on Coffee Lake.
The new 8th Gen Core processors listed for sale include the Core i5-8500 (BX80684I58500) priced at $217 and Core i5-8600 (BX80684I58600) priced at $240. The listings include no details on specifications, except for the model name and asking price.
If earlier rumors are to be believed, both upcoming Core i5 chips will sport 6 cores and 6 threads. The Core i5-8600 will be clocked at 3.1GHz base, while the i5-8500 will run a bit slower at 3.0GHz. Other features include 9 MB of L3 cache and 65W TDP.
The other two processors available for sale are Celeron chips, including the Celeron G4920 (BX8068G4920) priced at $61 and Celeron G4900 (BX80684G4900) priced at $52. Both Celeron G4920 and G4900 are dual-core processors, clocked at 3.2GHz and 3.1Ghz respectively.
In addition to Celeron, Intel will release three new Coffee Lake Pentium Gold chips. They include the Pentium Gold G5600, Pentium Gold G5500 and Pentium Gold G5400, all featuring two physical cores with support for hyper-threading. The chips will be priced around $100 or less.
