The Putrid Aquifer dungeon in Diablo 4 is a unique location that offers players the opportunity to enhance their character’s experience and accumulate additional gold. Location of the Putrid Aquifer Dungeon

The Putrid Aquifer dungeon is situated in the Ragged Coastline zone of Kehjistan, near the Iron Wolves Encampment waypoint. Players should prepare to encounter enemies such as Snakes and Drowned within the dungeon.

Putrid Aquifer Dungeon Walkthrough

The primary objectives of the Putrid Aquifer dungeon involve collecting the Animus from Animus Carriers and destroying all four piles of Corpses. The dungeon is divided into two sections: the Diseased Watering Hole and the Rotting Cesspools.

Diseased Watering Hole

In the first part of the dungeon, players must collect the Animus from Animus Carriers and deposit it into the Animus Urn. As players progress through the dungeon, they will encounter several weak enemies. Players should be vigilant for the Animus Carriers, defeat them, collect the Animus, and deposit it in the Animus Urn.

Rotting Cesspools

After depositing all the Animus into the Animus Urns, players will gain access to the Rotting Cesspools. Here, players must destroy four Corpse piles. The first and second Corpse Piles are located on the left side of the area, the third is in the bottom left area, and the last one is on the right side of the Rotting Cesspools area. Destroying all the Corpse Piles will complete the Putrid Aquifer dungeon.

Rewards for Completing the Putrid Aquifer Dungeon

Upon completion of the dungeon, players will receive the legendary Defensive Aspect of the Unwavering. This Legendary aspect enhances the Sorcerer class’s ability to reset the cooldown of one of the defensive skills by 5% when taking direct damage, and also awards +30 Renown points. This aspect is particularly beneficial for Sorcerer mains, as it can significantly increase their chances of triumphing over the hordes of enemies in Diablo 4.
